Les oeuvres de Mark Nicdao exposées à Asia Now Paris 22, peintes à Paris ces derniers mois, témoignent d’une évolution significative depuis son dernier solo show à Manille début 2022.

Dissection du for intérieur, structures solides avalées dans la desintégration nucléaire, volutes décomposées après le Big Bang de l’être, c’est ce dont il s’agit et qui doit sans cesse être répété.
Anatomy of the hidden self, solid structures swallowed by nuclear disintegration, remaining volutes after the inner Big Bang, that is what it is all about and needs to be done again and again.
Des influences? Mark prend sa respiration, mais aucune réponse ne vient, pour la bonne raison qu’il n’y en a sans doute pas à une question si théorique. Pas même l’expressionisme abstrait? Inconsciemment?
